Ariadnne Vargas (IBA)

Ariadnne Vargas Rivadeneira, is a Product Manager at the Product Management and Innovation team at IBA. She is also leading the Phytosanitary Irradiation Platform (PsIP) at the International Irradiation Association (iia).
She has been involved in the irradiation industry since 2019, when she was head of the Industrial Applications Unit at the Bolivian Nuclear Energy Agency and simultaneously a professor at two universities in Bolivia, the Bolivian Catholic University (UCB) and San Andres Major University (UMSA).
At the beginning of hes career he worked in different industries in the food sector, both in management and quality. During this time, she carried out implementations and monitoring of Quality Management Systems based on ISO 9001:2015 and Food Safety Management Systems based on ISO 22000.
As for academic training, she has a master’s degree in project management, and she is specialist in nuclear technology applications graduated from the Balseiro Institute and the University of Buenos Aires, and as a basic training is a chemical engineer.
